Hands Down the best Daily Drill. I am a professional handyman, and have been in the business for 16 years. I just purchased and received My 4th panasonic 15.6v drill.
Takes a lot of abuse. I do home remodeling. This is the second one I purchased. The first was great--until I had it stolen.
I've used this drill for a few years now and I can't say enough about it. Very powerful and great torque. The battery life is great.
All you people out there who're itching to buy a 1st drill: look no further.
Easy to control, a little whiney, but who cares. It works great wherever I set the clutch. Well worth the bucks!

I am a Builder, and have three of these. Each has a problem..One has a broken Chuck as I tightened a bit in it that was off center and broke one of the three tines, I have another that smells burned out and over heats probably from over use, and a third that I dropped Damaging the internals
I have been using the drill for about a month, and it works great. Using it to assemble Ikea cabinets - using both drill and driver functions. No problems, no regrets.

I assure you it is one tough powerfull drill that will be dependable at whatever task you have for it.
I was boring through a 2x6 to run some electrical wire and the clutch broke...I sent it out to be repaired and it has been over a month and the facility still doesn't have the replacement parts.
There is no doubt in my mind that Panasonic has the longest lasing batteries on the market. I've had all different brands and since I've owned this one I'll never buy anything else.
I have owned this drill for years and it is still awesome. The power and run time are fantastic.
