Gearbox Nylon Gears - Transmission includes at least some nylon gears that may need replacing after years of extended use. A nylon gearbox helps reduce driver weight.
Motor Brushes No External Access - The motor brushes can only be accessed internally by taking the driver apart. While not a common problem, external access makes the replacement job much easier.
WarrantyLonger Warranty - Backed by Milwaukee's limited 5-year warranty. This provides extra protection against potential design defects or premature part failure.
Charger Standard Charge Time - The Milwaukee 2650-22 battery charger takes 60 minutes to recharge a battery. Longer charge times are not a big issue if you always have a battery back-up.
Belt HookBelt Hook - Handy feature that allows you to temporarily hang the driver from your belt or a ladder while you're performing other tasks.
Work LightWork Light - Contains an integrated LED work light that illuminates your work area and allows you to clearly see your driving position and progress.
Fuel GaugeFuel Gauge - Equipped with an on-board battery charge indicator that keeps you aware of your remaining battery life. No more dead driver surprises during the middle of a job.

Milwaukee 2650-22 User Reviews Highlights

  • This impact driver will drive a 6 inch deck screw with ease it will also torque bolts, lag bolts, and lag screws with no problem.

  • I have many of the M18 cordless tools. I can't sing the praises of these tools enough - especially this impact driver.

  • All in all, I think Milwaukee has a great tool here, along with much of their other M18 lineup.

  • This is a good strong tool. I love being able to check the battery status by simply pressing a button.

  • The battery slides on and off easily, its well balanced, and very comfortable. High torque motor and current most power for this type of tool make me comfortable saying that the rest need to play catch up.
