Good power but breaks. Case broke on first use and now the chuck has stripped. Yeah all are covered by the warranty but the repair parts take a long time to come in, guess that is why they give such a long warranty period!!!
Great drill. Light, powerful, and a long lasting battery. This is my third Hitachi drill motor and the oldest is just as good as the newest.
Great Multi-purpose Drill. This drill is a lot better than the many different manufacturer's drills (Makita, Porter-Cable, Skil, Black and Decker, etc.) I have owned.
I've had pretty good luck with Hitachi tools up until this one. The overall quality seems closer to a homeowner grade than the price would indicate.
